so its the 16th of February and empire of the sun's massively anticipated album walking on a dream is released by virgin UK.. i was surprised at the price of £5.99 on itunes, the album art work is brilliant and with my opinion of the single being amazing i felt there was no way this album could disappoint...!! and disappointed i was.... such a let down the tracks are all over the place with the production and the vocals where good at times but mostly a mere shadow of the excellence in walking on a dream.
now I've had cup of tea a sit down and a cheeky smoke thinking this would make it sound half decent but still I'm having trouble getting into it. half way trough the 2nd listening I've got so distracted I've ended up with oracular spectacular on tapping my feet and feeling heady and well stoned... i can see clearly why nme voted it album of the year whereas i don't think empire of the sun will see this accolade for this album.. MGMT 1 - Empire 0
